“This has been super weird. I’ve always been a busy body, but now am forced to freeze in time. I’ve gone through a billion emotions, but have honestly found peace in just being able to spend more time at home.

I’ve been spending most with my partner, learning about each other and us as a couple. I’m also talking to my mom every day and cooking new recipes while on the phone with her. I haven’t had time to do this before quarantine, and it’s nice to appreciate the downtime.

I’ve been so thankful for the no-contact pickup at Lo Rez. I spend five days a week at the taproom, which feels manageable while feeling safe. Without a busy taproom, I’ve been putting more energy into my plants - propagating, planting, and watching them grow literally day by day. I’ve always put in work for beautiful plants in the taproom, but you can expect it to be extra green when we open again!

I’m thankful for the no-contact pickup that we are doing at Lo Rez — I am there five days a week, which is feels manageable while being safe. I also get to see all of the beautiful people keeping Lo Rez alive. It’s strange to see ya’ll this way, but it keeps my head high.

I’m looking forward to a sense of normalcy, and to drink a beer at the bar with my friends and regulars again. The shift in where I put my energy and time has given a new perspective on what really matters … I feel confident that positive change will come to anyone who embraces this.”
